AI in the movies

AI in the movies
A billboard advertising the movie "Everything Everywhere All At Once" that depicts a scene featuring two rocks on a mountain, one with googly eyes looking at the camera. On the billboard, the text "Everything has led to this" appears, with a googly eye in place of the counters in the uppercase "R" and the uppercase "O".

I was just talking to B about the use of AI in movie making and how that ship has long since sailed. I wanted to show him examples which led me to find these AI tools in credits in IMDb:

Respeecher
Metaphysic
Deep Voodoo

The entry for Runway ML is sparse with only two titles crediting it, however I believe that's incorrect because we know that Runway was used in "Everything Everywhere All At Once." Something to watch in the future I suppose.

Speaking of Runway, I wrote somewhere ages ago...or said to someone maybe...that the smart thing for studios to do with AI was to basically train their own model on their entire catalog of works, since they own the rights to those catalogs. Here is Lionsgate doing just that with Runway.

I'm certain that's not the full list of AI companies being used in movie making. Let me know if you know of more.
